Circulation Policies
New Fiction and New Non Fiction circulates for 14 days. Renewals availiable by phone.
Main Collection materials circulate for 3 weeks.
DVDs circulated for 7 days.
Circuit DVDs circulate 2 days. No renewals.
Audiobooks, including Curcuit Audios, circulate 3 weeks.
Your Library Card
Anyone who wishes to borrow material must register and recieve a library card. Anyone who is a resident or tax payer in Sharon is eligable for a library card. All cards are valid up to three years. Out of town residents and other Connecticut residents are encouraged to use their library card here. There are no age restrictions; we do issue cards to children when parents feel their child is responsible enough to have one.
Fines
In lieu of late fees, we encourage voluntary donations to our “conscience box” which is located at the front desk.
Renewals
Please call the library to request a renewal on an item. Renewals cannot be done over the internet. They must be done on the phone or in person.
