February 3, 8, 15 and 22, 3:30 – 5:00p.m.
Crochet – it’s like knitting but easier and more fun. Crochet uses only one needle with a hook on the end.
Join us at the Library on four afternoons in February and let’s make stuff! We’ll start with the chain stitch. You can keep your samples from day one to use as ribbons for tying up presents and packages or as bracelets or hair bands. Then we’ll make single double and triple crochet stitches to make fabric. You can create a scarf or granny squares to sew into a blanket, and much more!
The Library will supply each child with a ball of yarn and the proper sized crochet hook on the first day.
Reservations are required and may be made by calling the Library at 860 364-5041.
