Art Exhibit and Opening Reception: The Art of Arthur Getz: City and Country

The Hotchkiss Library of Sharon is pleased to present an art show featuring the work of Sharon resident Arthur Getz (1913 – 1996). ‘City and Country’ will open Saturday, May 5 and run through Saturday, June 30. Best known as the most prolific cover artist of The New Yorker magazine, the exhibit will include a variety of Getz’s fine art as well as his New Yorker-related work. ‘Top Hat & Tales: Harold Ross and the Making of The New Yorker’ Film and Talk by Filmmaker, Adam Van Doren
