Renewals
Please call the library to request a renewal on an item. Renewals cannot be done over the internet. They must be done on the phone or in person.
Fines
In lieu of late fees, we encourage voluntary donations to our “conscience box” which is located at the front desk.
Lost or damaged materials
Lost or damaged materials will be billed to the borrower at the cost of replacement to the library.
Searching our new electronic card catalog
Check the Hotchkiss Library for any book, DVD or audio you want. If we have it, you can reserve it and come in and pick it up. If the item is checked out, you can request it online and we will call you when it is available.
Inter-Library Loan
Search Regional Libraries.
This will allow you to search other libraries in our consortium for materials we do not own. You can request it and the other library will send it to Sharon. We will call you when it arrives.
State-wide Searches
You can also look for materials throughout libraries in the state. Once you have found what you want, you can request it and we will call you when it arrives in Sharon. Click here to do a state-wide search.
