Summer Reading Program

A summer reading program is held each year, for children who are reading or beginning to read.  It is truly important that children maintain and practice their reading skills over the summer so that they are ready to begin or resume school in the fall.

Some children’s activities to look forward to this summer:

Hotchkiss Library - Childrens Summer Program - Heros

  • Annual Tuesday Evening Chess with Jonathan Doster
  • Magical Mondays with Miss Robin: July 6, 13, 20, and 27; August 4 and 10.
